Hi Tammy, unfortunately at this time, we do not have an in-person support group in your area, but I could share your email address with the facilitator of our ZOOM Support Group and she could send you an invite to our next online group which is held on the third Thursday evening of each month at 7:00 pm central time. Would you like to try that out for the month of August? God bless you! Chaplain Natalie

Reading this made me reflect on how I often try to control my own life, when in reality, I’m not the author of my story—God is. I was really moved by the reminder that faith is a gift and that even my struggles and failures can lead me to repentance and deeper transformation through Him . It reminded me to let go, trust more, and truly embrace the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice and love.

Thank you very much for this deeply moving Christmas meditation, sister Natalie. May all who work so tirelessly as you who serve through FOCUS do be blessed this Christmas, and in the year to come, with the PEACE of Christ that Our Savior said “is not as this world gives,”—may He strengthen and encourage you all to not grow weary in well-doing, and may He pour out upon you all His other-worldly peace that surpasses understanding.

Amen Amen Eve, our God's love for us in so unfathomable, but these stories from His Word clearly demonstrate the HIGH VALUE our Lord has for women of all backgrounds and situations. What a wonderful encouragement to know that He is always paying attention to us. God bless you today!

Thank you for sharing these powerful stories! Growing up in an abusive family taught me much about how we value and care for ourselves. if a woman feels unattractive, invaluable, or unworthy of love, it'll affect her decisions concerning relationships or even marriage. My mother lived trapped in an abusive marriage for many years until she discovered she was worth far more than she received. As daughters of the King, we should never settle for someone selfish, mean or arrogant to us. God would never allow it...He wants the best for us. He loves us.

Thank you for your comment, Deacon Joan. There are many reasons why women return to the abuser, I always pray that they will trust God instead of the empty promises of the abuser, yet the Lord gives a greater grace. All blessings for a day filled with His love, peace and joy.
