Homes of Refuge

Our Vision for the Future
Our transitional housing program would provide long-term housing to help women grow in a safe environment and become financially stable. Here are some of the pleas we have received for help:

“I don’t know where to go for help. I don’t have the money to get a place to live for me and my kids. Please, please help!”

“Please, can someone help me? I’m trying very hard to rebuild my life. I’m feeling alone and afraid I’ll go back to my abusive husband. I need help so I can make a good life for my kids. Please help me.”

The number of women seeking housing has increased, but we have to refer them to local secular agencies because we do not have the space to take them in. Has God spoken to your heart about helping women in need?

How can I help?

  1. Donate a house and receive tax benefits
  2. Donate the use of a house where you maintain ownership
  3. Contribute monies toward our "Homes of Refuge" fund
How you can help Do you know of a business looking for tax write-offs that would donate a house or small apartment building?

For homes located in the suburbs of Chicago, please contact Paula Silva at 630-595-7023 or Paula@focusministries1.org.

If you would like to contribute to the "Homes of Refuge" fund please Donate Online or send your tax-deductible donation to the following address:
