Time to Talk Teen Booklet

Time to Talk Teen Booklet cover

Nearly 1.5 million high school students experience emotional and physical abuse every year.

Today more than ever, young people need to know that God loves them, cares about them, and has good plans for their lives. They need to know that healthy relationships matter.  They need to know that they are valuable to the Lord – so priceless that He died for them.

Time To Talk, a new booklet from FOCUS Ministries tackles the issue of teen dating violence and abuse (ALL types).  We lay it out straight-forward for the youth (and concerned parents) so that they can recognize abuse in their relationships AND what healthy, respectful relationships look like. The booklet’s colorful, original illustrations were digitally rendered by our FOCUS teen volunteer.

This booklet is especially designed to initiate conversations within families and youth group meetings, youth courses/classes and even peer-to-peer talks.  We know from our own experience most teens don’t tell anyone when they are being abused, whether physically, emotionally, verbally or sexually.
