Chaplain Services

FOCUS Ministries offers spiritual counseling and support. Often women in crisis need prayer for God’s protection, His provision, His guidance and help. Often an abused woman is intimidated by the pastors at her church. She wonders if they will believe her story. Often it feels shameful and fearful to talk with a pastor about what’s happening in the home. What if her husband found out she told the pastor? Her marriage was supposed to be happily ever after but instead became a nightmare ever after. Who could possibly understand her broken heart?

For these reasons, we provide chaplain services to our clients. Chaplain Natalie Frame is licensed and ordained by the International Fellowship of Chaplains. Natalie has also served as a co-leader for a FOCUS Ministries support group in Chicago’s western suburbs since November 2015 where nearly 100 women in various phases of recovery have shared their painful stories and heard the good news that there is hope in Jesus Christ. She is available for in-person counseling as well as phone calls, emails and video chats.
