Psalm 100
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
With hearts full of gratitude today, we thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement to this ministry. For more than 29 years, FOCUS Ministries has been helping women come to grips with and escape oppression and abuse. We are here to counsel, pray with and minister to “the least of these” as Jesus commanded, knowing that as we listen, affirm, and offer help in the name of Jesus, we are actually ministering to HIS heart. What a privilege!
This is His ministry and we only serve and care as He directs and provides. Because He is a GREAT God, we know that He hears our prayers, He tends to us His sheep and His goodness is all around us. Even in the darkness. Even in the sadness and anger. Even in the most hopeless circumstances, He is still our God, still our Father of Light and Love, still our good Shepherd.
Let’s join our hearts and hands with His and thank Him for all He has done and all He is doing and all He plans to do in the days and weeks ahead. He has not forgotten us or forsaken us – He is moving and working alongside us. He is Holy and Just and Righteous. He sees our tears, He hears our cries. He is with YOU today.
Because of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord, our King and Redeemer, our only Hope.
